Wooly Knob Fiber Mill

On a cloudy, dreary October morning, a few members of the guild met in the parking lot of the Wood County Historical Center to embark on a journey to Laotto, Indiana to visit the Wooly Knob Fiber Mill.  Upon arrival, we were greated by the owner, Jamie.  We were each handed a box and told to fill it with whatever our hearts desired from the wonderful selection of fibers at the mill.  We then put it through the large carding machine as pictured below.  By the end of the day we each went home with at least a pound of fiberous treasure.  We all had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back in the spring.
